Other holes are where you place the bird food and for the birds to insert their beaks.After this you must have bird food ready such as sunflower seeds or other seeds that they might like; you can purchase them in local pet shops.

After that, you need to find a strong string or rope for tying the plastic bottle. In tying it, you need to tie the rope or string in the top part of the bottle where the cap cover is located. Finally, complete your bird feeder by spotting the right spot to hang it so that birds can actually land on it. The best area where you can hang it is in a tree – just make sure that you do not let it hang too low as you might scare the birds or too high whereas you’ll be having troubles maintaining it. Young children must have adult supervision when making their own homemade bird feeders.
